Three images showing Vesta's Numisia crater. The images were processed from high altitude mapping orbit (HAMO) data and from low altitude mapping orbit (LAMO) data.
Numisia (true color)
A true color RGB mosaic from HAMO images. The HAMO images were obtained on October 27 and 31, 2011.
Numisia
A true color RGB mosaic from HAMO images and a single clear filter LAMO image. The single clear filter LAMO image was obtained on March 30, 2012.
Numisia (false color)
A false color mosaic from LAMO images obtained with the 918, 749 and 548 nm filters. The mosaic has been processed to greatly exaggerate any color variations to better reveal compositional variations. The images used in the mosaic were obtained on February 7 and 19, 2012.
